Are you using the Gapfillers latest box?

We've been talking to some Gapfillers Members and discovered that they hadn't noticed the Gapfillers latest box! This is located on the top right of the home screen (under the Member Home link).

This is an important feature of Gapfillers as with over 6,000 pages of exercises it is very difficult to know where to begin!

Each day we post 4 exercises as a practice unit for the day. Some are new and some are recycled - don't worry if you have done the exercise before it is deliberate that we re-post and important that you re-cycle lessons.

If you haven't time to prepare your own programme or don't know what to choose then follow Gapfillers latest do the exercises each day and you will be well on your way to success!

The programme is as follows:

Gapfillers Latest - Timetable
Monday word of the day, grammar exercise, video news bulletin, writing exercise
Tuesday word of the day, grammar exercise, video news bulletin, reading exercise
Wednesday word of the day, grammar exercise, video news bulletin, listening exercise
Thursday word of the day, grammar exercise, video news bulletin, short story
Friday word of the day, grammar exercise, video news bulletin, listening exercise

We also add vocabulary exercises and poems sometimes in addition and sometimes instead of the news feature.

By choosing Gapfillers latest you make sure that you get exposure to English practice every day. It also gives you a set, organised programme for when you are busy.

Doing all 4 should take you around 30 minutes but you can do a 15 minutes session and choose just one or two exercises.

You can subscribe to RSS feeds on Gapfillers

Gapfillers latest has an RSS feed. So do other sections on the site. You can subscribe to these feed so that whenever anything new is posted in the section you will get it straight to your computer through your reader.

igoogle screen capture

This means that you don't necessarily have to go to the site to see what is being posted!

Here you can see the feed on my own igoogle page. This updates as new exercises come into the feed I have chosen.

These are great not only for keeping track of everything but also for organising your daily English practice sessions.
