Halloween pumpkin

The poem needs careful reading to follow the 'story'.

The skies they were ashen and sober;
The leaves they were crispéd and sere --
The leaves they were withering and sere;
It was night in the lonesome October
Of my most immemorial year;
It was hard by the dim lake of Auber,
In the misty mid region of Weir --
It was down by the dank tarn of Auber,
In the ghoul-haunted woodland of Weir.

Here once, through an alley Titanic,
Of cypress, I roamed with my Soul --
Of cypress, with Psyche, my Soul.
There were days when my heart was volcanic
As the scoriac rivers that roll --
As the lavas that restlessly roll
Their sulphurous currents down Yaanek
In the ultimate climes of the pole --
That groan as they roll down Mount Yaanek
In the realms of the boreal pole.

The Art of Murder

We are ready to begin the game again but sadly we are still in need of players We need another 8 people to play. If you would like to have a go please let us know by answering the message in Member Home or by sending an email.

The commitment isn't too much. You will need to log in and check your messages and respond to people's questions. The game is led by a police inspector who will give you the information you need as and when it's discovered.

As soon as we have the full quota of players we will start!

Scavenger Hunt

This will be on the site next week and an alert will be sent out for your to access it. You simply complete the questions and submit. There will be a prize for the first correct entry.

The Language Show - London
