As Summer into Autumn slips
And yet we sooner say
"The Summer" than "the Autumn," lest
We turn the sun away,

And almost count it an Affront
The presence to concede
Of one however lovely, not
The one that we have loved --

So we evade the charge of Years
On one attempting shy
The Circumvention of the Shaft
Of Life's Declivity.

Happy Birthday Gapfillers!

Gapfillers will be 3 on October 1st! We've come a long way since 2006 and have really enjoyed the journey!

To celebrate our 3rd year we have planned some activities in Member Home:

We will be running our murder mystery game The Art of Murder again at the beginning of October. Places for this are very limited so you'll need to sign up quickly to take part. An invitation will go out next week and the game will begin in the first week of October.
Look out for the Scavenger Hunt which will run in October.You'll be asked to find things on the site and complete tasks. There'll be a prize for the winner so - watch this space!
Finally - at Gapfillers we love puzzles - we also love collaboration! We have a series of problem solving games that you can join in. You need to think, ask questions and collaborate in order to solve them.

Britain and the Brits

We hope you have enjoyed our theme on the Brits this month. The words of the day picked out adjectives used to describe our 'national character' and we have bombarded Gapfillers with readings, listenings, news items and jokes laughing at ourselves and sometimes making serious comments on Britain and the Brits.
