You can buy subscriptions at any time, including before a current subscription has expired.
If you renew a subscription before a current subscription has expired, the new subscription will start at the end of the current one.
If you renew a subscription within a month of when a previous subscription had expired, the new subscription will be back-dated to the expiry date of the previous subscription.
If you renew a subscription more than a month after the expiry of a previous subscription, the new subscription will start from the date the new subscription was purchased.
