Podcasting is a way of distributing multimedia files, such as audio or video programs, over the Internet using RSS feeds. Podcasts can be played back on mobile phones, PDAs and personal computers.

You can use these in three ways: -

  1. Follow the link on the site. You'll be able to play the broadcast on a media player on the page. You don't have to download the document for it to start playing.
  2. Downloading the document from the site. You can download the document onto your personal computer by right-clicking on the link and choosing Save File As, or Save Link As.
  3. Subscribe to the RSS Feed. At the bottom of each set of Podcasts you see an RSS link. Use this to subscribe to the feed using your Podcatcher. See the panel on the right for more information on RSS Feeds and Podcatchers.
