New this week
Monday: our grammar today is 'logic conjunctions' or linkers. There are two very good exercises to try on this important aspect of grammar. Our news bulletins have been a bit different for a few days - shorter. The usual format will resume on Wednesday!
Tuesday: The reading today is from the Economist 'My Kingdom for a bicycle' with exercises to test vocabulary and understanding.Grammar is an ex. on adverbs.
Wednesday: We have a listening (listen online) on the V&A museum in London - fascinating! Also a grammar exercise on idioms connected with clothes - all good stuff! Our forum at 10.00 (GMT) will be about
Thursday: An exercise on Phrasal verbs and chapter 1 of our 4th short story appear today.
Friday: We have an alternative to our World Business Report this week a listening on miscellaneous news items. The grammar ex. is conditional sentences.
