Giant rabbit news - answers to the exercise

Can you find the word(s) / phrase in the passage which disprove the statements below?
1. People have been worried about their private gardens.
They are 'allotment-holders', so they hold some small piece of public land in common with other gardeners.
2. People who have had their vegetables eaten by a monster rabbit can now stop trying to find it and shoot it.
They 'may' be able to breathe a sigh of relief.
The student 'may' have run it over in her car. She says it 'might be that one'.
These words show the over-sized rabbit may still be alive.
3. It is just a normal-sized rabbit that has definitely been killed.
It is 'massive', 'abnormally big', a 'giant' rabbit, and a 'were-rabbit'.(As mentioned above, the words 'may' and 'might' show the over-sized rabbit may still be alive.)
4. Rael has proof that she killed this animal in an accident.
The comment 'I wished I had picked it up now' shows she has no actual proof.
5. This is a tragic story.
'People have just been laughing about it really' shows it has been a source of amusement. The story may just be the continuation of a joke article. It is something of a tradition in England that the media (newspapers, or TV, generally) put out a ridiculous story on April 1st (April Fools' Day) and people believe it.
