A Postman calls at a house to deliver a parcel. He knocks on the door and waits. |
Shortly, the door is opened by a dog.
The Postman looks astonished but, seeing nobody else there, says to the dog
"Good morning I have a parcel for this address".
| "Oh good" replies the dog. "Could you please put it on the floor inside the door?" The Postman does as the dog asks, but is still a little shocked by the whole thing. So, to fill in the embarrassing pause, he says "Wow, does your owner know you answer the door then?" |
"Yes" comes the reply. " Amazing. And does he know you can talk?" "You must be joking" replies the dog. "If he knew that, he'd make me answer the phone as well!" |  |
