Boasting

Several horses are resting in their stable boasting to

each other about their racing abilities.

One says "In the last 15 races, I've won 8 of them"

"Well" breaks in another "in the last 27 races, I've won 19"

"Not bad" adds a further horse "but in the last 36 races, I've won 28" and he flicks his tail proudly.

At this point the horses notice a greyhound sitting at the entrance to the stables and listening to their conversation. He clears his throat, and turns to the horses.

"But in my last 90 races, I've won 88 of them!" and he strolls away into the yard.

There is a stunned silence in the stable.

"Woah!" says one of the stallions......" Did you hear that?.........A talking dog!"

"I don't mean to boast" He begins.....
